Maurice Kwizera

Maurice joined Kigali Genocide Memorial as a volunteer from 2013 working for “One Million Voices project” engaging Rwandans and Internationals to sharing their messages of hope and remembrance. Later worked as a Youth Officer where he closely trained and mentored Youth Champions & Ambassadors of Peace across the country. Middle of 2016 he joined the team of Visitor Engagement where he welcomed and signed up visitors to become friends of Kigali Genocide Memorial. Maurice is presently part of the Guides team and on daily basis he helps visitors to learn and better understand the history of Genocide against the Tutsi. He is a Bachelor’s degree candidate in Business Information and Technology, and He is also a holder of various certificates in Genocide studies and Peacebuilding.
