Today marks International Women’s Day.

The Kigali Genocide Memorial remembers the mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, grandmothers and aunties who were killed in the Genocide against the Tutsi.

We stand alongside and salute the women of Rwanda whose strength and courage after the Genocide have helped the country to rebuild and renew.
