The Kigali Genocide Memorial has welcomed Lin and Gao Company staff for a visit to commemorate the Genocide against the Tutsi and learn the history of Rwanda – before, during and after the Genocide.

Arriving at the memorial, the staff toured the memorial to learn more about the causes and consequences of the Genocide as well as other genocides that have taken place around the world.

The visit continued with the laying of wreaths on the resting place for more than 250,000 victims of Genocide who are buried at Kigali Genocide Memorial. This was followed by a minute of silence to honor the innocent people who were brutally murdered in the 1994 Genocide.

Writing in the Kigali Genocide Memorial guestbook, a representative of the company left a message of hope, that reminds all Rwandans to recognize and appreciate the progress their country has made since the horrible time that Rwanda experienced during the Genocide.

“The company appreciates the work done by the President Paul Kagame. Long Live Rwanda,” a representative of Lin and Gao Ltd wrote.

Ending their visit at the Kigali Genocide Memorial, the company made a generous donation to the memorial that will support the activities and programmes of the memorial to pay tribute to the victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi and empower survivors to have a hopeful life. The Kigali Genocide Memorial is very grateful for the contribution.
