Social Programme Officer

Darling has been the Aegis Trust’s Social Programme Officer in Rwanda since January 2013. Her first contact with the Kigali Genocide Memorial was back in 2007 when she was one of beneficiaries of Social Program where she was supported in her studies. After completing her studies in 2013, she was selected by Aegis to join the team as a Receptionist. In 2014, Darling was appointed Social Programme Officer. In her responsibilities, she is always a listening ear to the stories of the survivors and dedicated to advocating for them to make their lives better and bring smiles back to their faces. Darling graduated with a Bachelors degree in Sociology from the Kigali Independent University (ULK). She also holds different certificates in Trauma healing and Counselling.
