Heavenly World Peace of Light held their Dialogue of Scriptures at the Kigali Genocide Memorial

Heavenly World Peace of Light (HWPL), a Korean based Christian organization, held their Dialogue of Scriptures at the Kigali Genocide Memorial. The organization aim is to promote peace values around the world, and is currently in Rwanda conducting preaching of scriptures for three months until July. The topic of the dialogue was the role of religion leaders in peace building.

“They are many different religions but wars as well as other issues are still taking place in the world, during Genocide, religions leaders participated a lot in the Genocide that is why they should do something to rebuild peace.” Bishop Patrick Mutware, Arise and shine Ministries.

“The religions were brought by God and all Christians and all Christian believe in one God. If people love each other they cannot kill each other or hate others”. Joy Cho, panelist from South Korea.

“We are happy to be with these HWPL representatives from the main headquarters as it will increase our ability of go on preaching peace around the world, during Genocide people did not love each other, they went out of God’s plan of not killing and loving each other, as we are still fighting for peace we will always come to this place because it is really the right evidence of what we preach”. Jean Bosco Nshimiyimana, HWPL Peace Committee Advocate.

Jean Bosco Nshimiyimana also explained that the Kigali Genocide Memorial was the selected location to host the dialogue because it is a place that inspires and promotes peace and remembrance.
