To see that the genocides of Rwanda and Bosnia happened in my lifetime is very disturbing. I was 7 years old and having a happy childhood in India. To imagine that such pogroms are still happening is very painful and sad. Though we can’t go back and change what happened, we can highlight the active wars even if it is politically hard to talk about them now in a separate section of this museum from political interweave. The Rohingyas to Myanmar, the wars in Syria, Yemen and many more. To include the Gujwat of 2007. Serve to remind the 2nd most populous nation (India of 1.2 billion people) our recent past and slipping slope we are on if we do not take corrective steps.
