The National Commission for the Fight against Genocide
Rwanda’s National Commission for the Fight against Genocide (CNLG) was created in 2007 with a vision of a world free from genocide and genocide ideology. Its mission is to prevent and fight against genocide and genocide ideology and address its consequences both within and outside of Rwanda. The commission is comprised of an Advisory Council, a Commissioners Council and an Executive Secretariat. CNLG works closely with Rwanda’s Ministry of Sports and Culture which is responsible for the memory of genocide.
The Kigali Genocide Memorial is run by Aegis Trust on behalf of CNLG.
